Well, I suppose with the new year, one has to expect changes, and Google in its wisdom has changed the way we upload photos on to blogger! As with everything new, it’s taken me twice as long to do this – I thought I’d schedule a quick post on Friday night and now it’s almost 4.00 am Saturday morning – thank you Google (not) ! I’m having a lie in on Saturday!
My previous post mentioned Stampin’ Up!’s limited period promotion from 3rd to 21st January. I thought I’d do a couple of cards using “My Little Valentine” stamp set which is only available in Clear Mount. The “Be My Valentine” was stamped in the middle, and I used a stamp from “Forever with You” to encase it.
On the inside, I just stamped “forever” also from Forever with You. You can find this stamp set on page 132 of the Annual Catalogue.
The “Sealed with Love Simply Sent” set which you get free with purchasing “My Little Valentine”stamp set contains 10 love notes, 5 each of 2 designs, 20 printed paper buttons, 24 stampin’ dimensionals, 10 pieces of white/real red bakers twine.
The love notes measure 8.6 x 11.6 cm, so I just cut Whisper White cardstock double the length but the same width to make a free standing card. As the envelop is patterned, you can use the actual love note as an address label instead.
Here’s the second design. I used the Adorning Accents embossing folders and fashionable hearts embosslits. The stamp images are tiny. This one has xoxo on it….
…and I stamped the I heart you on the inside. I don’t know about you, but I’ve found it hard to get those creative juices flowing. My mojo seems to have taken a hike after the long Christmas and new year break! All the decorations will be coming down on Saturday and hopefully my mojo will be back by Monday! Thank you for stopping by – enjoy the rest of your weekend! Hugs!
