Kindness Matters

Hello everyone!  I’ve scheduled a few posts for the next few days as hubby and I have finally found time in our diaries to go away for a much needed mini break.  We’re both really looking forward to some rest and respite as the last few weeks have been so hectic. Amanda held her Quarterly Training Day for the Inspiring Inkin’ Team yesterday.  I managed to make 40 swaps so had to keep them simple as with Convention looming, I have to think of another design and make lots more!  Eeek!  This is one of the new Delicate Designs embossing folders which is scrumptious! It’s on page 188 of the Annual catalogue, it comes in a set of 2 folders with different designs.  It’s a bargain at £8.50/ €10.95.

I went for a monotone theme so stuck to Raspberry Ripple throughout.  I cut an Adorning Framelit label  out of a piece of window sheet and used the negative so that I could use it as a mask to sponge the edges round the frame in Pretty in Pink, then stamped the trio of butterflies from Kindness Matters.  I’m loving the 1 1/4″ scallop circle punch and the Hostess set called Mixed Medley (in the Autumn/Winter catalogue which you can earn for free, if you host a party)  just fits perfectly with it.  Lastly I used the color spritzer tool to create that vintage look. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. This is a gorgeous swap and I LOVE it.

In case Elaine doesn't tell you, she had an amazing award at Amanda's training – The Heart of Inspirin' Inkin' Award. She is the most deserving recipient as those of you who know her will attest. Well done Elaine – you are a star and an inspiration. XXX
