The idea formed with this Up, Up & Away stamp set to make an Up, Up & Away Triple Slider card.
Last month, my tech club group requested this triple slider card and as it was a bit on the techy side, we omitted doing a 3D project and concentrated on constructing this card. They had to work on their template first, and then constructed another using DSP. This is with the card shut.
When you pull on the tab, it reveals the top tier. I used the “Up, Up and Away!” stamp set – it just seemed perfect for this card!
This reveals all three tiers. It uses up a whole sheet of 12″x 12″ DSP as well as bits of Whisper White cardstock and coordinating coloured card stock to mat with, so it’s quite an expensive card to make.
Here’s the first triple slider card I made using the Sew Lovely stamp set a while back. I hadn’t considered doing this for a class as it used up such alot of expensive paper. Stampin’ Up! gave us some free Everyday Enchantment papers during Sale-a-bration, so I was able to put them to good use and keep my ladies happy!
Which do you prefer – the Sew Lovely or this Up, Up & Away one?
