A Father’s Day card for husbands, Dads in the whole wide world! Sadly my father-in-law passed away in October 2007 and alas, also my own Dad after a long fought battle spanning several years with leukaemia on 29 April 2009. The ache of losing a loved one dulls in time, but we remember them in our hearts always. So this is for you Dad Jack and Daddy, even though your physical presence is no longer.
Back to the card – I used Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White cardstock. I scored the background in a diamond pattern with the Simply Scored tool and the stamp set is Open Sea. I cut the mats using the Labels Framelits collection and accessoried with plain twill attached with eyelets.
