OOOops!!! I nearly missed Easter! Preparations have been so late this year. There was a mad panic to get a string of cards done and catch the post in time, so I kept the cards really simple. For the inside of the card, I stamped the images directly onto the So Saffron card base and coloured in with marker pens instead of watercolour crayons.
The sentiment inside the card is from Easter Blossoms “sending springtime smiles”. For the front of the card I used the Polka Dots embossing folder on a piece of Whisper White cardstock to just add a touch of texture, then matted and popped up the flower pot image with dimensionals so that I could run some Certainly Celery 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon underneath it.
How are you celebrating your Easter? We’ve pre-empted it this year as part of the family are spending Good Friday with us instead of Easter Sunday, so I’m looking forward to putting my feet up on Sunday!
