Wedding Theme for Scrapbooking

As promised, here is the reveal of the rest of the  sneak peek posted last Saturday. 

I have a confession to make.  This is my first foray into a new arena – running classes for Scrapbooking and this was the theme for my first ever class based on a Wedding theme.   Each month we do one double page spread and a single page for my Scrapbook Sisters classes.  The classes give you another dimension into using your stamps on a scrapbook page – not just for stamping on cards.  You get so much more mileage out of your stamp sets this way.  My classes are usually on the 3rd Saturday of each month.  Check out my blog for more details.  Watch out for a new class list coming soon. Anyway, back to the double page spread – here is the recipe. 

Stamps:  I {Heart} Hearts, Broadsheet Alphabet, Marry Me

Ink:  Versamark, Rose Red, Basic Gray

Paper:  Basic Gray Textured, Whisper White, First Edition Specialty, Spice Cake

Accessories:  Petal Cone Die, Top Note, Heart to Heart punch, Scallop Trim Border punch, Clear Embossing Powder, heat tool, piercing tool and mat, black marker pen

Here is the single page.  Sometimes a particular layout warrants using a particular item to balance the layout, and in this case I used a background stamp from my personal collection. The lace background stamp is currently not available in our catty but I couldn’t get it to work with the new Liebe, Love, Amour single stamp in any other way.  The doileys from the Flirtatious Specialty papers were too small,  so I stamped  the lace doiley background onto Whisper White card stock and roughly cut it out to include in each goodie bag  as an added bonus element and it was very well received.  I have not included this stamp in the recipe as it is from my personal collection.

Ink: Wisteria Wonder, River Rock

Paper:  River Rock, Very Vanilla, Basic black, Flirtatious Specialty

Accessories: Brads, 2 3/8″ circle scallop punch, 1 3/4″ circle punch, 1 3/8″ circle punch
