Well hello again! Twice in one day – wonders will never cease! I just had to post this set as it’s so apt for today. As 2012 is a leap year and it’s February 29th today, all those single gals out there can propose to their special guy today! This stamp set is called “Marry Me”!!!!
I’d promised to post the samples I made with this stamp set at my workshop last Friday. My Hostess’ niece wanted a grey and pale yellow colour scheme – so the cardstock used here is Basic Grey and So Saffron. I kept the designs simple as you have to bear in mind that you’re producing vast quantities of wedding invitations, thank you cards and favour boxes.
I used Versamark to create the shadow background on the two Basic Grey cards and So Saffron on the So Saffron card.
Products used:
Cardstock: Basic Grey, So Saffron, Paper Vellum
Card on the left: Lace Ribbon Border punch, 3/8″ So Saffron taffeta ribbon, pearls.
Card on right: velvet ribbon and pearls.
Card lying down: So Saffron Classic Ink, Scallop Trim Border punch, paper vellum 5/8″ Whisper White organza ribbon, cropadile
Favour Box:1 1/4″ circle punch, Scallop circle punch, Sweet Swirls standard wheel.
This was the card they liked best and obviously is much more labour intensive.
Please excuse the quality of the picture – it was sent via the phone and I’ve copied and pasted. I had left thi card at my Hostess’ house as a template. She kindly sent me a pic via her phone and this is it !
So if there’s anyone single, and female, reading this at the moment, do you plan to pop the question to your special guy?! ;))
Gorgeous as always elaine. X
