3D cone box

This is retired card stock which I put to good use. I used the Friendly Words wheel to create a pattern on the card stock, cut out two heart shaped pieces with a tab on one side, creased from the valley of the heart to the point, applied sticky strip and adhered two halves together to form the cone. I cut two scallop circles, cut them in half in a co-ordinating darker colour and glued it to the flaps. The tassel effect is white organza ribbon threaded through from inside the cone, knotted inside and out and then frayed. You can see the tassel better in this picture. Around the edge of the top rim, I applied sticky strip and ruched organza ribbon all round, bagged it with white tissue ready to put the chocs in.
