The Reveal – Mr Owl from Punch Bunch

Here’s my take on the owl – I made a “tag” card so when opened (as you will see from the following pictures) it would have a 3D effect. When laid flat a whole bunch of owls peep at you! This is a view from the back – I drew the bark markings on all the panels and sponged with soft suede. I cut off their feet (too fiddly) but I’m still pleased with the effect. Here’s the front. It tickles me that the other owl can be seen from the front – the owl image is so symmetrical, you can stamp it twice and glue them back to back which is what I did here. … and finally opened out with the message. I had fun making this. Hope you like it!
