It seems strange to be in my craft room creating as I haven’t stepped foot in it for almost the entire month! I have scheduled posts for practically the whole of August. I’ve come down with some sort of bug since Sunday with a raging temperature and now I’ve got a sore throat that feels like I swallowed a cactus so I needed a pick me up and found refuge in my little corner of “heaven”. The last Inspiring Inkin’ Challenge I used the Carousel notes, and really liked the scallop edges so had translated it into a square scalloped edge card using the square scallop die and the big shot. I folded the Kraft card stock in half and placed it just shy of the 4th scalloped edge to create the above. The background is a stamp from my personal collection and I used the On Board chipboard flowers and inked it first in Whisper White Craft pigment ink, then Dusty Durango. The centre sentiment is from Circle of Friendship. This is the detail inside. The “thanks so much” sentiment used here is from Trendy Trees.
Sweet project Elaine and lots of hugs and a get well soon too. Hope you feel better tomorrow. XXX
