Happy Sunday!
In my previous post, I featured the Birthday Cheer Bundle and made a gift bag so I thought I’d make a card this time using the Cupcake edgelit instead. I adhered a multi-purpose adhesive sheet on a strip of Berry Burst card stock so that it would make adhering the die cut a lot less messy. I kept the card minimal to let the die cut sing.
The font is lovely, so I wanted to make that a feature by highlighting the bold words in the darker Berry Burst colour and the less prominent words in Powder Pink. I matted the Whisper White stamping layer on to Powder Pink card stock. Both Berry Burst and Powder Pink are the 2017-2019 In Colours which will be retiring at the end of May.
A girl’s got to have some bling – so I added a Glitter enamel dot to finish!
Here’s the inside of the card – I was messing around as to where I should stamp. The sentiment doesn’t always have to be dead centre, and it gives you room to write a personal message if it’s over to one side. What do you think? These are the supplies I used :
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
