This was a card I did for one of my workshops last month. It looks quite ordinary but reveals a surprise. I call it the “magic” proscenium card.
Like a proscenium or stage, when you open the Gate fold, the “curtains” draw back and reveals the star of the show.
The “Close to Cocoa” tabs attached to the gate folds pull back like curtains and to reveal Rudolph! Both gate folds were stamped in Whisper White craft ink with the snowflake image, as was the sentiment. Craft ink takes longer to dry, so I added Dazzling Diamonds to the sentiment “Sparkly & bright” for a bit of pizzazz. The Stocking was double stamped, first in Real Red, then using the stampamajig, stamped again with versamark and clear embossed then trimmed and adhered with dimensionals on the “proscenium” (centre Real Red panel). I used a white gel pen to make the circle more of a focal point.

Accessories: 1 3/4″ and 1 3/8″ circle punches, Scallop circle punch, Oval scallop punch, large oval punch, white gel pen, dimensionals, sticky strip, Dazzling Diamonds, Heat tool, Clear Embossing Powder
