Happy Sunday!
I’m squeezing in as many Easter projects as I can. This stamp set is 2 years old, I think, and it won’t surprise me if it’s in the retirement list this year. I was experimenting with frames, and this is also partly an eclipse technique on the frame. If you look closely, I’ve stamped on the frame too.
Good old Stamparatus – it can be used for so many things! I wanted to mirror the stitched edges on the window frame, and found that the Stitched Labels Framelits had a stitched edgelit which was perfect for the job. On the strip of cardstock I used to stamp the sentiment, you can see how both the top and bottom edges is also stitched.
On a separate piece of Daffodil Delight card stock, I stamped more daffodils and fussy cut them so I could fill up the spaces because the sentiment is so small. I wrapped 1/8″ Call me Clover grosgrain ribbon in the middle, drew some daffodil leaves free hand on the cardstock below the bow and coloured it in with my blends. The daffodils either side of this section was popped up on dimentionals to give it a 3D effect.
I’ll let you in on a secret on how the design evolved – it was because I’d smudged it! Hope you like the final cut!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for stopping by!
