Did you grow up with the Tales of Beatrix Potter? I was a voracious reader as a child, even to this day when I pick up a book (or rather my Kindle!) I have a tendency to read it from cover to cover almost at one sitting! Everything else grinds to a halt as I want to find out what happens in the end even before I’ve started at the beginning!!! lol! Anyone else like me?
This was one of the first stamp sets I bought when Stampin’ Up! revealed what was in store in their Spring/Summer 2019 catalogue way back in November 2018! It was a trip down memory lane – for me. When I was little, Mum and Dad bought me the set of books, and it had its own wooden bookcase tailor-made for them and took pride of place in my bedroom. Remember those? Over the years and with several house moves in our travels abroad and then settling in UK, both the books and the bookcase have been lost, sold or given away – I can’t remember which!
We’ve been blown away by the Gingham Gala DSP stack – and I thought it was time to give some love to the products in the Annual Catalogue too.
I’ve used the Neutrals DSP stack for Peter Rabbit and the Subtles for Jemima Puddleduck. I used the partial die cutting technique for both the images, you can see it on my YouTube channel in episode 587HERE.
I’ve listed the supplies you need for both cards so take your pick. There wasn’t a Stampin’ Blend for Blushing Bride, so I used an acrylic block to pick up ink from the Blushing Bride ink pad and used an aqua painter instead for Jemima Puddleduck.
