This is a double pocket gift card and tag. A piece of 20.5 cm x 12 cm Old Olive card stock scored landscape at 3.5 cm x 12 cm. Using the stamping off technique I stamped snowflake randomly on front and back of card stock and folded all score lines. Adhere a piece of Ski Slope DSP measuring 11.5 cm x 3 cm card stock to the outside of top flap (smaller flap)so it is visible when closed. Stamp “Do not open ’til Dec 25″ in Old Olive on Very Vanilla and nip concave corners with 1/2” circle punch and mat onto Old Olive and Rose Red. Adhere dimensionals to bottom edge only of topper. Tuck a piece of matching grosgrain ribbon on middle right and adhere this to create a “closure” for gift card on the underside of bottom panel. When folded, this will be facing on top.
The accompanying card with “To” and “From” message measures 112 mm (just over 10 cm) x 75 mm (7.5 cm) for the Old Olive mat, and the Very Vanilla measures 9.5 cm x 7.0 cm. Images were stamped in Old Olive, the deer in Chocolate Chip stamped and cut out, raised on dimensionals and adhered to card topper.
Create a double pocket inside the card. To do this, I sealed an envelop before cutting it in half (I used a medium sized SU envelop) and adhered this together in the middle with seams facing.
I ran the snail over all the edges of the seamless envelop and adhered this to the centre panel of scored Old Olive card stock. Repeat for other half of envelop and adhere to front panel of card (the panel which will eventually have a matted piece adhered to it for a closure) as pictured above.
