Also enclosed with the template, Sam sent some stamped images of her Gorjus girl stamps. Since signing up as a demo for Stampin’ Up! I’ve had little need for adding to my collection of stamps from other manufacturers (call it tunnel vision!). Stampin’ up! really has covered all the bases in its arsenal of stamps so much so, I haven’t been distracted by other stamps on the market. So thank you Sam, for broadening my horizons ;))
This one’s for you. I’ve put her under an awning using some old Making Memories cardstock, scored approximately half inch from scalloped edge and left it loose so that it would slope upwards. Two pieces of equal size Close to Cocoa card stock was cut and scored at 1/2″ and 1″ from both ends, folded on score lines, sticky strip added and adhered together to create 3d effect. An oval aperture was cut from one of the pieces, as was the stamped image of the Gorjus girl using the nestabilities as well as the scalloped oval which is Pretty in Pink.
I picked out some appropriate sentiments and swirls from the Cherished Moments rub-ons and completed the card with a couple of brads.
