One of the Inspiring Inkin team, has just recently moved house and I really went to town with this one as I fancied playing with the Hostess Level 2 & 3 sets – Spring Solitude and Window Dressing plus the new Scene in a Garden from the Mini catalog and a sentiment from Loads of Love Accessories stamp sets.
I stamped the window from Window Dressing in black Stazon on Whisper White, cut out the window “glazed” bits and adhered a piece of cello bag trimmed to size on the back to look like a
pane of glass. I lightly applied watercolour crayon in Creamy Caramel on the window shutters and blended with an aqua pen. I stamped the little girl’s head onto the main card and coloured in her hair band in Pixie Pink.
From the Scene in a Garden, I stamped the table and cut out the table top for the flower window box and coloured this with Chocolate Chip marker, blended with aqua pen.
Stamped the trio of flower vases from Window Dressing 3 times in a line on Whisper White, trimmed round flowers and vases, added dimensionals on back and adhered to main card. Using the markers, I coloured in the flowers and leaves using Old Olive, Summer Sun, Lovely Lilac and Pixie Pink. I then put dimensionals on “window Box” (table top from A Scene in the Garden set) and layered this on top of flowers.
I used Garden Green and Choc Chip markers to ink the branch from Spring Solitude and stamped randomly on left side and top of card. I also stamped some on Whisper White cardstock, cut this out and used dimensionals to raise some of the branches to give 3D effect.
I then stamped “just moved” from the Loads of Love Accessories stamp set at the bottom to finish.
A labour of love, as I had to cut round the flowers, but am chuffed with the result. Hope you like it too.
Beautiful! I think I need those stamp sets now!!
