Hello everyone! I’ve been scratching my head as to what to make with the Do the Impossible stamp set.
Our relatively new “norm” with the closure of practically everything and having to stay home makes Sunday seem just like any other day of the week. I hope you’re all staying safe and only venturing out when necessity dictates.
I’ve been incarcerated at home ever since the announcement was made on 16 March. Hubby cancelled all his classes at the gym the following day for fear of bringing the virus home to me as I’m in the extremely clinically vulnerable category as I suffer from asthma among other health issues.
I know quite a few people who are exercise enthusiasts and pretty health conscious so I bought the “Do the Impossible” stamp set to make cards with them in mind. However, since the outbreak of COVID-19, group activities, mass gatherings have been curtailed. I had to think outside the box.
To stay safe we had the “social distancing” mantra has been drummed into us. I’ve simply re-iterated that same message here. I die cut several words from the Well Written Dies which contained all the letters I needed to spell “social distancing” in Sahara Sand. I adhered a multi-purpose adhesive sheet (retired) on the back so it would make adhering the individual letters a lot less laborious. It also meant I didn’t have to use wet glue and inevitably get sticky fingers!
How did I do? Hubby’s reaction – “excellent” he exclaimed when I showed it to him, so I have the approval from at least the sum total of one!
Much love to you all – follow the rules and you’ll be alright “Jack”! I hope you all stay safe and remain healthy and happy and to keep your sanity …more crafting!

Hi Petra,
When you have your freedom taken away, it's hard not to yearn for it and keep boredom at bay. It's definitely a challenge to occupy yourselves doing something constructive at home for the sake of your mental health. Hope you and yours are good too. Take care, stay safe. xx
