It’s a stark reminder that we’re not out of the woods yet as far as COVID-19 is concerned. When news breaks that there are second outbreaks in Hong Kong and that the UK Government has tightened lock down in parts of the UK because of a spike in new cases, it’s very worrying. We hold on to hope that a new vaccine will be available asap so that life as we knew it will get back on track! Let’s get on to something more cheerful…….
Only two more sleeps till the August-December 2020 Mini goes live! In the meantime, here’s another sneak Peek at “Celebration Tidings”.
I used the stamps from Celebration Tidings for this card and used Very Vanilla Thick as my card base.
We have some new Brushed Metallic 12″x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) card stock. There are six single sided sheets in a pack, two each in Bronze, Copper and Gold and you’ll find them on page 45 . It is part of the Gilded Autumn Suite. I used the gold one as a mat layer, but “gutted” the parts that didn’t show so in fact the card front layer is sitting on a gold frame with the centre cut out. You can use the “gutted” piece on another project and make this special paper go further.
The Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series paper is gorgeous! It has an assortment of foiled accents. The reverse side has an autumnal theme or geometric patterns suitable for any occasion throughout the year.
To make the paper go further, I only cut strips, raised on dimensionals to make them “pop” and stamped in Cajun Craze directly on to the card front layer. Just add a gilded gem to finish the card.
