Summer Splash #2

For my Sunday share I’m revisiting this gel card.  I first did this with my Technique Club ladies way back in 2009 which you can seehere.  There’s a small sealed plastic bag of hair gel sandwiched between the layers in the round scalloped window aperture pocket.   It was just perfect to use on the octopus […]

Summer Splash #1

During August, I am featuring cards for boys.  They were samples I made for my “baggy books” – cards put in cello bags, then a topper with information on the stamp set, page no, availability in wood and/or clear mount with their codes, price and how many stamps there are in the stamp set is then […]

Anniversary card

Goodness me, my daughter and SIL just celebrated their 8th Wedding Anniversary.  It only seems like yesterday when she flew the nest.  I raided my personal collection to make them this anniversary card, changing the sentiment from “Be My Valentine” to Happy Anniversary instead.  It was double stamped so I could cut out the banner […]

Sunday Share

I cannot lay claim to this creation for my Sunday share today as it’s a card I received from my American penpal who shares my passion for all things SU.  Isn’t it beautiful?    The cardstock is Concord Crush and Pretty in Pink and the Hostess Level 1 stack of 6×6 papers in the In Colours for 2010-2012. […]

Edible card!

There’s hardly any stamping in this card.  I just used the eyelet border punch for the top of the cake stand and used a bit of scrap Pretty in Pink  taking a bite on either side with the window punch  to make the pedestal part.  The blackberry Fruitella sweets and their wrappers appear to be the same shade as Concord […]

Congratulations!

My DH after much persuasion from his boss was asked to put in an application to become a Fellow of the Institute of Civil Engineers.  He had to list several attributes and work experience throughout his career according to the Institute’s guidelines, the application goes before a judging panel and they deem whether or not the candidate […]
