I’ve long admired this stamp set, having seen all the wonderful creations fellow crafters have made but didn’t own this stamp set myself. I finally succumbed and bought this set not long ago and have combined it with Sale-a-bration’s Whimsical Words “small wonder” for this gorgeous butterfly. I’ve used the spotlight technique, highlighting one of […]
My Valentine
I thought I’d show you the Valentine card I made for DH. It’s very simple, using the Groom Specialty papers and combined with a stamp in my personal collection and nesties. I stamped a sweet little butterfly inside and zoomed in real close so as to cut out my personal message.
Inspiring Inkin’ Challenge # 21
The challenge this fortnight was to make a criss-cross box and a lid for it. Criss cross boxes don’t normally have a lid but I incorporated one, nevertheless and wanted it to look like a big envelope. Of course having made the box, I couldn’t leave it empty, so I made six cards to put […]
Punch Album
At our team quarterly meeting, my team leader Amanda gave us supplies to make this great resource for SU punches. I didn’t have time to make it whilst at the meeting, so made a few notes and did my “homework” like the industrious “schoolgirl” I am (barf*!) ;o and am really chuffed with it. Of […]
A card for my best friend
When spirits are low, sometimes it’s nice to receive a card to let that person know you care. I couldn’t make a card for her sister and not one for my best friend to wish her a safe journey – she’ll be flying back to Brazil to see her sister at the end of the […]
A Get Well Card
I made this card for my best friend’s sister who I stayed with in Brazil. Her sister fell 4 metres from a ladder and is very ill in hospital. I’m absolutely devastated and hope she will make a complete recovery in due course – it will be a lengthy process but thank goodness she has […]
Greenhouse Garden
In conjunction with Sale-a-bration, the Greenhouse Garden Stamp set had been singled out by Stampin’ Up! to highlight the plight of the Haitians who suffered a magnitude 7.0 earthquake on 12 January 2010. £1 will be donated from the sale of each Greenhouse Garden stamp set to the Red Cross’ International Response Fund to provide […]
A Good Egg
I botched the card that the lovely Helen had designed whilst at the Shoe Box Swap, so I came home and duplicated it but accidentally smudged the top of this card with Black Stazon ink. So I made another one (shown in a previous post) with Helen’s original design. However, I decided not to let […]
