I thought I’d share our latest project with you – to say it’s a radical makeover is an understatement! Neither of us saw Easter this year as 6 strapping blokes were due to arrive bang on 8.30 in the morning expecting a clear work area.
This is what the rooms looked like on Monday – a work in progress. I can’t believe how much stuff I’d accumulated over the years! We had to be quite ruthless in ditching stuff – DH got quite emotional coming back from the dump having parted with much loved books we’d read to our kids, old records, old memories – just had to be done.
I’m looking forward to getting rid of the carpet we had to make do with which came with the house when we moved in almost 10 years ago!
