Crazy for Cupcakes

I needed extra samples for the Crazy for Cupcakes set – so I dashed this one off real quick.  I used the Tea Party DSP matted on to Almost Amethyst, stamped the big fairy cake image in versamark, sprinkled with Black Embossing Powder, heat embossed, then used the markers and blender pens to colour it in and Dazzling Diamonds for the sprinkles and the flame.  I embossed it so that the colours wouldn’t bleed into the card as it had on a previous attempt.  I added a strip of Almost Amethyst so that it would make the Pretty in Pink scallop oval and its sentiment stand out then finished it off with a little pink gingham ribbon.
