Inspiring Inkin Challenge #1

I am a Challenge Virgin – this is my very first attempt for theInspiring Inkin’ Challenge Blog. I never use Pale Plum, so it really was a challenge to create something with this colour.   I couldn’t find any DSP to match exactly, so used the Polka Dot background stamp to make my own.  I also added some detail on the inside of card so that the ribbon would stay secure.  The recipe is as follows:

Stamps:  Doodle That, Oval All and the Polka Dot background stamp

Papers:  Pale Plum, Lovely Lilac, Whisper White

Ink:  Lovely Lilac Classic Stampin pad

Accessories:  Scallop edge punch, large oval punch, scallop oval punch, Whisper White taffeta ribbon, Hodge Podge Hardware, dimensionals, snail, pricking tool and mat.

Thanks for looking.

  1. How pretty is this?! Don’t you just love how the background stamps are perfect for making your own DP when nothing else matches – that’s why I love SU!

Thanks for joining in on the first challenge Elaine.
