Today, I thought I might make something just for the fun of it but more than anything I made it to satisfy my own craving for making something that was for me and not for someone else, or because I had to.
It’s amazing what you can do with paper – I’d bought this template and have had a play and I love it. I just used Whisper White, some retired SU paper, stamped flowers from Playful Petals to embellish with and added the rhinestone brads and prima flowers to attach handles to basket.
There are so many possibilities with this – just by changing the colour of cardstock you use or DSPs (Designer Series Papers) and embellishments gives it a total new look. It’s a generous size, so you can use it as a gift hamper for toiletries, baked cookies to give away, home-made jams, the list can go on!
Great project, well done you. Will have to have a go at one of these. Not forgotten your template, will try and get it in the post tomorrow.
