DH dared me to walk across the glass floor in the Spinnaker Tower so I did, in stockinged feet hanging on to the hand rail for dear life!
Well, what a day it’s been. Breakfast in bed, opening my cards and presents, followed by a pleasant drive along the A roads to Portsmouth’s Gun Wharf Quays and visiting the Spinnaker Tower which we saw under construction many moons ago, but never got round to seeing the finished article, a 3 course lunch, a leisurely stroll along the Quay, exploring some of the shops and a kip in the afternoon, ending up at the cinema in VIP seats to see Alice in Wonderland on Mother’s Day – it was just great to chill and have a Sunday with DH. What a treat. So rarely have quality time these days when we have different interests and lead busy lives. I really felt pampered. Hope all you Mums had a great day too!
