Happy Easter everyone! I made this to hold all these lovely jelly sweets for Easter – it makes a nice change from having chocolate easter eggs, and when you’re on a diet, less sinful than chocolate! If truth be known, I’d rather have the chocolate, so there’s a bit of both! The box base is made with So Saffron, and I matted the Kaleidoscope DSP on to Pumpkin Pie for the front and back panels and left the sides plain. The sides were cut in a handbag shape and attached to the box base which gives it a trough shape instead of a rectangular shape. I used a block of florists foam thingy (don’t know the tech word for it) to sit inside, stuck the jelly lollies in, covered with tissue and liberally sprinkled with yummy chocolate easter eggs.
You can see the bag shape on the end better from this angle before I added the mini easter eggs.
What a gorgeous Easter basket Elaine, I think the florist foam is called Oasis. Happy easter.
