Garden Dream, Bella Toile

In a bid to use some of the retiring colours – Blush Blossom and Orchid Opulence, I teamed it with Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla to make this card. I used the Hostess Level 3 stamp set called Garden Dream – stamped the floral image in Black Stazon and coloured in with an aqua pen and markers on an oval of Very Vanilla cardstock. The hummingbird was stamped in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla and cut out by hand, raised on dimensionals and adhered so that it hovered over the flower. The background was in Blush Blossom on both the side panels and back panel, and I stamped the Bella Toille background stamp on it in Rich Razzleberry. Looks stunning IRL – hard to tell from the picture. The sentiment is from Ovals All which I punched out with the word window punch, then inked the edges before adhering beneath the oval piece in the centre. I wasn’t sure whether to add any more to it on the front – so have left it plain and simple. I’m still mulling over it, I might tweak it – so watch this space! Recipe: Stamps: Garden Dream (Level 3 Hostess), Bella Toille, Ovals All Ink: Rich Razzlebury, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Black Stazon Papers: Orhcid Opulence, Blush Blossom, Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla Accessories: Word Window punch, Rich Razzzleberry polka dot grosgrain ribbon, snips, dimensionals, snail, bone folder

  1. Wow, what a gorgeous card, I love the way it folds. I also have a pack of Blush Blossom so may be teaming it with the same colours. Thank you for the inspiration.

  2. Another tutorial request Elaine! I love this – do bring it for the show and tell table at the team meeting won't you? I would love to see it in real life 🙂 Beautiful work as always. X
