BEAUTIFUL CARDS FROM BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!

One of the special bulbs on my photography lamp has blown so I can’t guarantee the quality of these photos. Today, I finally get to open my birthday cards! They’ve been arriving all week, and I’ve resisted the temptation to open them until this morning. DH offered me breakfast in bed to start the day, but as he had to go to work, I opted for a cup of tea in bed instead. Bless him, he brought all my presents and tea up on a tray and we opened my pressies together before he trotted off to work. These are some of the hand-crafted cards I received which I just had to share. They are in no particular order. I love them all! That’s what I love about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – it has opened the door to forging new friendships with people I would never have met otherwise! They are ALL without exception uber talented ladies and I am so lucky to have them as friends. The first is from Lydia – this little package holds a surprise. Oh yes – when you open it, it concertina’s out and reveals this! Dear Val, she has such patience – her colouring is second to none and having been trained as a draftsman once upon a time, her work is perfection itself! Isn’t this beautiful? Love these pastel shades! Anita doesn’t do flowers, so I am flattered she took the time and trouble to make this “fan” flower with some gorgeous flocked paper. Stunning… …and last but by no means least, Stella who I met in the local craft shop and we have been friends eversince when I first moved to Fleet, gave me this card which was made by the talented Sarah. Thank you all – round of applause (clapping!) Off to Reading for some retail therapy, lunch and out again to dinner tonight and tomorrow too! Double celebration!
