This is the card I designed for the Make & Take at a workshop for the lovely Lesley last night with a group of lovely ladies too. Her brief was to do a card using the Springtime Vintage Designer papers and something feminine.
The cardstock I’ve used is Baja Breeze, Basic Gray and Very Vanilla. I ran the Baja Breeze strip through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder as a background, layered a 1.75″ x 1.75″ piece of Springtime Vintage DSP on to a 2″ square matt in Very Vanilla and topped it with a Decorative Label in Basic Gray. I stamped and hand cut the polka dot frame from the Four Frames Set and used a stampamajig to centre the two-step stamping Baby Blossom image in Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Old Olive inks. The sentiment is from the new Level 2 Hostess set and I finished it off with some faux ruching in the bottom right corner. I also added some pearls to jazz it up.
