I am off to Locks Heath today for a special Stamp with Amanda Day – a reward for having recruited earlier in the year. There’s always such a buzz meeting up with fellow demonstrators who share the same love and passion for all things Stampin’ Up! This is the card I made for Amanda to say “thank you” and I’ve been naughty ‘cos using creative licence I’ve used non-SU products for an SU event! You’ll probably spot the non-SU stuff, I’m hoping we’ll get Bakers twine in our next catty. I’ve got loads in all different colours in my personal collection and this card was crying out for it so I just had to use it! The card needs little explanation – just 4 pieces of 2″ square assortment of Elegant Soiree, Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla with a bit of stamping on the plain cardstock pieces. This is a great way of using up all those tiny bits of leftover scraps. I used the co-ordinating stamp set for the papers called Always Elegant and stamped on the envelop too. I am trying to simplify my designs into 10 minute cards suitable for workshops, so I hope this fits the bill with a couple of minor adjustments to include ALL SU current products) and that Amanda likes it. Thanks for stopping by.
It's lovely, thank you Elaine x
