Sail Away, Swaps

Whenever a bunch of Demonstrators get together, that usually means swaps which are usually 1/2 a card or card front and on the back we put our name and contact details and the recipe or it could be a small 3D item.  I had no time to design a new project suitable for a swap for Friday so I used the same design I did for the Make & Take for the workshop I did on Thursday.  It uses the Elegant Soiree DSP and the embosslits Sweet Buttons.  I used an acrylic block as a stamp, swiping edge of the ink pad at a 45 degree angle diagonally across the acrylic block then stamping on Very Vanilla cardstock as a background in Baja Breeze ink.  I then stamped the Sail Away image on top in Marina Mist.  Thrilled with the result, even though I say so myself. Stamp with Amanda Day was amazing.  I got to see the actual swaps Amanda had from her trip to Prague and needless to say, she was modelling her new Prague pinny embroidered on the pocket with her name!  If you happen to be reading this, thank you for a lovely day Amanda.
