I’ve seen alot of these owls dressing up Stampin’ Up!’s pillow box die and often wondered who the original creator was and have been meaning to make one myself. I stumbled upon Lynn from Michigan recently and she claims to have been the first to make one – you can find her here, so thank you Lynn for the inspiration. I love her colour combo and her original design. My version is almost a direct CASE, the only difference is that I used the largest petal from the Blossom Petal Punch and cut it in half then fed it back into the punch to round off the edges for the wings and added some eyelids and eyelashes to make mine a “she” owl. It was really quick to assemble and yet gives such a great “wow” factor! Hope you like it.
