Nature Walk

At Convention last year, Pam Morgan showed us how to make this cute litte folder.  I altered the dimensions of the folder (which you can see here) so that the bulk of 4 cards being put in the folder would sit better in it.  Today’s Sunday Share is an updated version. In my humble opinion, this would make a perfect Teacher’s present for those end of term gifts –  we can never have too many notelets for those emergency occasions can we?  The folder is small enough to pop in your handbag.  You can make it even more special by making matching envelops with coordinating DSP which I featured in an earlier post here.

On a personal note – yesterday we went back to the furniture store with DH’s precious leather recliner in tow and which is reclining at a very odd angle to see if it could be repaired.  Whilst in the store we couldn’t resist a bargain and have bought an ex-showroom tempur mattress and electrically adjustable bed plus matching tempur pillows!  You virtually have to take out a mortgage to afford one of these, and because it’s ex-display, the bed had been reduced  by more than 50% – an offer too good to resist .  We’re all set for our old age now – the electric controls work independently for each mattress so you can raise and lower the mattress into any position you want, even the foot end of the bed can be adjusted just like hospital beds.   I was horrified at how much the pillows cost.  If you own a tempur mattress it is recommended that you also sleep on a tempur pillow.  The tempur pillow after discount were £88 +  each!  Normal price is £100+ can you believe it?   So that was totally unexpected – we went in for a quote on repairing the chair and came away with an extraordinarily expensive bed, even though it had been discounted!  I’m still reeling from the shock.

Now there’s the more pressing matter of getting our en suite re-vamped and the rest of the bedroom decorated and carpeted before the new bed arrives!  Yikes.

Thanks for “listening” to my ramblings.  Happy Sunday!
