Bordering on Romance

I guess that most people in the UK will be celebrating the Jubilee in some shape or form over this Jubilee weekend.  Sadly I haven’t had time to make anything with a Jubilee flavour as I’ve had my hands full with visiting relatives and have been unable to spend any time in my craft room so for my Sunday share, I shall continue posting samples I’d made for my Mini event in the early part of May.

These are the samples I made for the Bordering Romance set.   In the sample above I have also used the new Labels framelits dies which are wafer thin as are the Adorning Accents Edgelits, as well as the coordinating embossing folders, and the large oval punch.  The technique used here is colouring with dye inks and a blender pen.  The sentiment is from Curly Cute and I’ve also used Twitterpated DSP.

I used Whisper White as my card base and I stamped the Bordering Romance floral images in Black Stazon, and again used blender pens to colour in my images.  The DSP is from Twitterpated and the “for you” label is from Apothecary Art.  I’ve also used the new pleated satin ribbon in Riding Hood Red.

With this sample, I used the “left over” piece from another card cut with the edgelit frame to embellish the top of this Riding Hood Red card base, the floral image was stamped in Versamark and white embossed then cut out and I used a pouncing technique with Stampin’ Pastels to infuse the colour on the cut out image.  The sentiment for this card is from Petite Pairs.

Hope you like it!
