Here is the double page layout Scrapbook Sisters did in May and it was “All About Me”. We used the Timeless Portrait papers in conjunction with the Mixed Bunch stamp set with the coordinating blossom punch in the Summer Mini and Creatively Yours stamp set in the main catalogue. The doilies are from the Flirtatious Specialty Papers. We used the new pleated satin ribbon for the finishing touches. It was a bit difficult to photograph the 2-page spread inside my light box but you get the general idea, I hope. The edgelits made a nice “pelmet” which is adhered with dimensionals and frames the photo. Want to see more?
This is the single page 12″ x 12″ layout. I cut a 6″ circle in the Twitterpated DSP and cut it in half. As the designer papers are double-sided, I flipped one semi-circle to show the reverse side of the paper. There is a bit of stamping with the French Foliage stamp set to balance the page. We used paper daisies which each had a different colour treatment. For the smaller daisy, we used a sponge dauber to pounce colour on, and the larger daisy was placed directly onto the ink pad to absorb the ink. The ridges on the daisy are more prounounced using the latter technique. The rest were strips of plain coloured cardstock to coordinate with the Twitterpated DSP.
Hope you like it.
