Tea Shop

For my Summer Mini season finale, here is Tea Shop.  This is without doubt my favourite set – we are mostly a nation of tea drinkers and this set certainly hits the mark!  I’ve paired this with the single stamp set “Silver Setting” stamped in Pool Party and went all out using the supersized tea cup, Twitterpated DSP,  the new colour Pool Party seam binding ribbon and jelly bean brads!

I am lucky enough to own both the Tea Shop clear mount  and wood mount set.  This trio of tea cups come as a set of three in a row.  I cut up the clear mount set to separate the three cups so I could stamp them individually and stacked them here.  The card base is Rich Razzleberry with Blushing Bride DSP from the In Color 2011-2012 paper stack.  You can achieve the same effect by inking and stamping the cups separately with markers.

I kept the inside simple, stamping the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White card stock then cutting it out with a framelits label die.

The Twitterpated DSP pack has such lovely patterns.  This Blushing Bride pattern compliments the Basic Gray and Blushing Bride cardstock so well especially since I had cut a pretty border with the Edgelit Adorning Accents and also used the coordinating embossing folder to dress it with.  I am loving the fact that we now have Baker’s twine in our stash to play with too.

Lastly, here are the same trio of cups stamped in monotone – Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White.  I used the pearls to simulate steam rising out of the tea cups and showcased the other Adorning Accent in the pair – this time the scallops with the coordinating scallop embossing folder.

Happy stamping!
