Die Cut Divas Class

At the time of writing, I’ve had a frustrating morning trying to find my missing pictures so I could create my picture collages and upload them on to the blog. Having googled troubleshooting forums to find the root of the problem, I’ve finally cracked it and we’re okay to go. Still need hubby’s expertise to uninstall software I’ve inadvertently uploaded to fix the problem only to find it’s superfluous to my needs and only serves to slow the broadband down! Arrrr!!!!

This Die Cut Divas class in June was to illustrate different ways you can use the one die.  For the Framelits Labels collection we used it to  make a swing card (top left), triple emboss (bottom left and middle), and mini purse (top right and bottom right).  Stamp sets used were Apothecary Art, Vintage Vogue and Creative Elements.

Here we featured the top note die, showing how you can partially cut the top note to create a tri-fold card and by rotating the die create a different look as shown in the top right picture.

We used the Triple Treat Flower (a single stamp set), to act as the closing mechanism for the trifold card in Always Artichoke on the top and bottom left.  The card was partially embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder on two panels, leaving the top note part plain. The Triple Treat Flower design has two coordinating punches.  The centre of the flower uses the 5 petal punch, and the whole flower coordinates with the fancy flower punch.

Oh my gosh, the summer holidays seem to be rapidly disappearing!   Enjoy it while you still can.

Thanks for stopping by.
