Reason to Smile #5

This is the last of my samples for the Reason to Smile stamp set.   I hope it’s given you some ideas as to what you can make with it.  If you haven’t got the set yet, I hope it’s inspired you to want to own this set!  Just under 2 weeks before the offer ends.

Here’s the recipe:

Stamps:  Reason to Smile, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper:  Calypso Coral, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Baja Breeze

Ink:  Calypso Coral

Accessories:  Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Bigz Top Note, Rhinestones, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Calypso Coral ruffle ribbon, Enchanting brads

So do you have a favourite out of the 5?   I think mine is #3 – the vellum one, but I like this one too.

Before I go, I just wanted to share this with you….

We went up to London yesterday on the hottest day of the year!  We retraced our steps back to Stratford and Westfield shopping centre to get some Tees at the Team GB shop with all the Olympic paraphenalia and then took the cable car.  Something we wanted to do when we went to the Olympic Park last time, but didn’t have time to.

This is the Check-In on the Stratford side.

Amazing aerial views.  There’s the Thames Barrier in the middle of the photo – the structures in a line across the river.

I managed to take a photo inside the cable car – a lovely clear, blue sky moment, starting to descend to the other side of the river.

Aerial view of the O2 on our left – you could see the Olympic Park Stadium too in the distance, but I couldn’t get a good enough picture from this distance even with the telephoto lens.

This is after our descent on the other side to catch the train on to Victoria Station and a short walk to Buckingham Palace to see the Queen’s Diamonds Exhibition.

Needless to say we were not allowed to take any pictures inside the Palace and I needed proof that we’d been!  The Garden Cafe is a must after the tour – they do fantastic cakes!

Pinch myself again, we’ve had tea twice now at Buck House – sadly not by invitation but having to pay for the priviledge.  It’s well worth it though.   The tickets are valid for a year so that you can visit a second time from the date of your first visit, if you wish.   Two for the price of one – bargain!

They say Sunday will be hotter than Saturday, so enjoy the rest of the weekend!  Top up those tans!  Who needs to go abroad if we have scorchers like today!

Hugs!
