Papaya Collage

Two cards for you today – birthday cards for twins, but I couldn’t make them both the same as they each have their own personalities and different tastes!  Only trouble is I can’t remember who got which card!  This one had a more vintage look – used En Francais(page 129) as the background stamped in Sahara Sand.  I’ve used 3 stamp sets here, the butterfly is from Papillon Potpourri (page 115), the sentiment is from Petite Pairs(page 134), and the frame, fern and rose came from Papaya Collage (page 75).

After adhering all the layers, I used the new Vanilla Shimmer Smooch spritz to add a sparkly sheen to the whole card.  If you click and enlarge the picture, you might be able to see it.

For this card, I masked the middle of the card front so that when I stamped the picture frame, only one end of the frame would show.  I then stamped the fern image several times without re-inking it to create these different shades.  Same stamp sets used, but it has a completely different feel.

The butterflies were stamped and punched using some of the new In Colors, Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple and Midnight Muse.  Don’t you just love our new elegant butterfly punch? (page 184).

I hope they liked them!
