Open Sleigh

As we count down to Christmas,  here are more christmas cards using the Open Sleigh stamp set in the Annual Catalogue – page 12.  My colour combo is Gumball Green, Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla card stock.  I’ve used the Framed Tulips embossing folder to frame the sleigh which was stamped in Riding Hood Red on Very Vanilla card stock then die cut with the Framelits Labels Collection.  I ran a two-way glue pen and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds for the “snow” on the ground.  The Riding Hood Red layer was adhered directly to the card base, but the Framelit Label was raised on dimensionals so that the Gumball Green stitched satin ribbon could slide through underneath.

I used the stamping off technique for the inside of the card.  By inking the stamp then stamping it on a piece of scratch paper, the freshly stamped image will appear more vibrant.  If you stamp more frequently without re-inking the stamp, then each subsequent stamping of the image will become more and more pale.  This is called stamping off.
