Overboard!!!!

Oh my goodness! As a Demonstrator one tends to have an extensive library (read stash) and sometimes I forget myself and keep pulling stamp sets out without thinking!  Before I knew it, I’d actually used 5 stamp sets to make just the one card!  Here’s what I used.

All the stamp sets above and framelits are from the 2013-14 Annual Catalogue

Top Left:  P38 Really Good Greetings 130330 (W)  £16.95 / 130333 (C) £13.95

Middle Left:   P109 Gorgeous Grunge  130514 (W) £21.95 / 130517 (C) £17.95

Bottom Left:  P112 Happy Day 130294 (W)£19.95 / 130297 (C) £15.95

Bottom Middle: P127 Tape It  (W) 130712 £23.95 / 130715 (C) £18.95

Top Right: P186 Squares Collection framelits 130921 £22.95

Not shown is the new magnetic platform which makes cutting a cinch – no more faffing about with Post-It notes!  The colours used here Soft Sky, Early Espresso.  By strategic placement of your top cutting plate, you can use the largest square scallop framelit to cut a rectangle instead which is what I did with this card.

I’m loving the Tape It stamp set too – stamps resemble washi tape and what could be more exciting than to be able to have it all in the whole Stampin’ Up! colour spectrum without storage problems of hundreds of reels of actual washi tape!  To make it look even more authentic, you could stamp on neutral cardstock then cut along the contours of the image and glue it to your project.  It will resemble the texture of having real washi tape!

Another great set to have is the Gorgeous Grunge set – once it’s in your possession, just think of all the possibilities you have to vintage – or not to vintage without the mess!  There are big and small splatter stamps, dragged lines as well as some tape and to think that I was so devastated when I let my set of French Foliage go.  I can see me using this lots!!!!
