Great Sport meets photopolymer Show & Tell

My son-in-law lives and breathes football and I was delighted that this Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die made its debut in this year’s Spring/Summer catty!  Great for gardeners, bee hive keepers and last, but not least football mad enthusiasts!  Don’t you love how Stampin’ Up! makes sure that we can use one item in several ways? He’s a Leeds United fan – I googled it to make sure I had the right colours. In Stampin’ Up! colour charts this was the closest I could get – Whisper White, Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight.

So, the more eagle eyed amongst you must have spotted a new stamp on my card?  On the front of the card the stamp set is called “Show & Tell”.  This stamp set is made out of photopolymer material.  They were a gift from a relative who resides in Canada and I’ve had them for a while  in  my personal collection. The stamp set I used for the inside of the card isn’t available with the May promotion.  Whether or not it will be included in the next catalogue remains to be seen.

The alphabets are super tiny. I spelt my son-in-law’s name and the day of his birthday on a punched out 1-3/8″ circle which I was able to position in a circular pattern. Had it not been totally transparent material as photopolymer stamps are, I would not have been able to stamp with such accuracy.

Enjoy the May Bank Holiday weekend!  Happy stamping!
