Painted Petals partners From the Garden

Last weekend was epic!  I attended a Quarterly Meeting run by my lovely upline Amanda in Portsmouth, on the Saturday, then had to rush home and complete some of the projects and prepare for my own team’s Quarterly Meeting for the very next day!   As you read this, hubby and I will be celebrating 40 years of marriage in Venice and this time round, we’ll definitely do the Gondola thing!

These were the swaps I made using Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi and Smoky Slate.  From the Garden has a coordinating die called Handpicked Framelits and the stamp set and Framelits can be purchased as a bundle. Bundles, could I resist it?  Heck, no!  Now you can see why.   I just love, love, love this combo.  I was time poor and needed something quick but still with a Wow factor, and I hope you’ll agree it does.

It looks fresh – just what we need at Spring time!  I’m no gardener, but I can do gardening on cardstock! wink!  This way I don’t kill the plants! lol!

I separated the cards out so you can see the four different shape die cuts better. All four dies were laid out on coaster board and run through the Big Shot at the same time.  This meant I only made 5 passes through the Big Shot, instead of 18 times!  I also managed to get 18 die cuts from one piece of coaster board which was also great for stamping on.

These two stamp sets are from the Spring/Summer catalogue which is valid until 2 June and as yet, I don’t know its fate, i.e., whether it will carry over into our new catty, which, by the way goes live on June 3rd! So here are the materials I used – hover over the bottom right hand corner for more details of the items I used.  If there are multiple images, it means each image has a code attached to either wood mount, clear mount, or photopolymer.

Happy stampin’ !
