Sunday Share – Build a birthday

I know, I know.  I say it every Sunday and am agog at how fast time flies and another week has gone by!  Time NEVER stands still!

We began our weekend with yet another trip to IKEA – we practically live at the store!  Hubs needed some CD units but sadly they were out of stock, even though he’d checked online and there were still 12 units left!  I suppose on a Friday night, they must have sold out during the day.  It’s an hour’s journey by car for us, so rather than it being a wasted trip, we got them in white – it was just as well, as the darker units would’ve stuck out like a sore thumb against the chimney flue as you enter the room.

An added bonus is that I have a new office chair, and it’s making a difference in comfort from the old one.  I also espied a table top ironing board for the princely sum of £4 so I had to snaffle it.  This month I taught my club ladies a cool technique that required the use of a craft iron and my ironing board, now I won’t need to use the household one for crafting! I digress, I’m sure you’d rather I share a card!  This is from Build a Birthday and I wanted to make it pop – so here’s what I came up with.

The laser cut words add a bit of ooomph – a card you have to personally deliver because of the curvy tiers.

If you want to know how I made this, it’ll be one of the future tutorials I’ve included for this stamp set from my soon to be launched Virtual Craft Room.

Here are the supplies I used.

Stampin’ hugs xx
