Happy Mothering Sunday! As I get older year by year, it brings home the fact that not all of us are lucky enough to still have our Mums. So today in the UK, this is a day to honour and remember not only mothers who walk the Earth with us here and now, but also the ones who are Angels in heaven.
My Mum is amazing, but we are oceans apart, she’s in Australia where they mark Mother’s Day on a totally different day. I know she won’t thank me for revealing her age – but for an octogenarian she keeps herself active and loves to travel – her last jaunt took her away from home for 2 months while she toured the Far East and China. It is a blessing that she’s currently in good health, apart from a health scare a couple of years ago. Long may it last.
This is version one which I designed for my team meeting in February in which I used Touches of Nature wood elements.
The one above was tweaked to use for my class and I substituted it for gold and silver foil punched out leaves. Which do you prefer?
