To A Wild Rose – Two Step Stamping

Have you ever looked at a stamp set and it didn’t really “sing” to you until you ink it up and were completely blown away by how stunning it looks once you put stamp to paper? Blimey, oh Riley!  That just happened to me!!!!  The best thing about it is that if you’re a beginner and starting out, this “To a Wild Rose” is just sheer genius – it will make you look like a pro from the “get go”! You don’t need a lot of ink pads either.  One of the most fundamental things you learn is a technique called “stamping off”.  This means you ink up your stamp and stamp it on to a scratch piece of paper a couple of times before you stamp it on to the card you are making.  Each time you stamp on the scratch piece of paper, you’re transferring the ink to make it a shade lighter.  Better still, having a stamp positioning tool like Stampin’ Up!’s Stamparatus makes it even EASIER!!! See for yourself!
