Have you ever heard of a “no-line” water colouring technique? It first came to my attention when Natalie from Stampin’ Up!’s home office demonstrated it about a year ago and it gives water colouring a much softer look.
What better way to start out, if you’ve never done it before than with a small image and the butterflies from Butterfly Gala are perfect.
All you need is the new watercolour paper that Stampin’ Up! introduced this year called “Fluid 100”, one hundred percent cotton with a smoother texture especially designed for water colouring, cold pressed, archival in a natural white colour and acid free. This replaces the water colour paper they offered in previous years. Add to the mix some ink pads, and an aqua painter and you’re good to go!
