Product medleys includes stamps, paper, dies and accessories which are perfectly coordinated for creating cards and more. It is similar to the card making kits and other project kits but without any pre-determined projects. Put together for the avid crafter so that it will enable them unleash their creativity and make their own amazing projects.
Did you forget we had those gold foil edge card blanks? They have them in silver too, but because the DSP in the product medley were gold foil, I opted to use the gold foil ones.
Some simple stamping – ideal for beginners, stamping with the smaller tree stamp and without re-inking the stamp, you can generate 2 further lighter shades of Old Olive with the one ink pad! Pop a sticker on, stamp the sentiment and you’re done! You can also add some embellishments to make the card “sing”!
In the background you can see a couple of pillow boxes decorated with the DSP. I wrapped the spotted tulle on first, before adhering the DSP – you need 2 pieces cut at 3″ x 3″ (7.6 x 7.6 cm). As the DSP are from 6″x 6″ (15.2 cm x 15.2 cm) sheets, there isn’t enough length in the paper for it to completely wrap around the pillow box so consequently I created an alternative solution.
A couple of ideas on using the gold foiled card fronts – you can pull stamp sets you have in your stash to create other cards rather than just relaying on the Most Wonderful stamp set. By the way, you can also use a brayer or sponge a different colour background if you wish.
