Playful Patterns Stamparatus rainbow

Give me an alphabet die set anytime – I love them! Even better is one that includes the numerals as well! Not only that, there are multiple dies for more popular letters!

I show you two ways to use the Stamparatus for a technique called “hinge” stamping. The one with red and blue stripes is Hinge technique 1. The rainbow effect is an alternative to the Hinge technique 1, and I call it the Hinge 2 rainbow technique.

The stamp for these stripes is quite long so you can stamp it on a piece of card stock larger than you need for the card front. Once you’ve finished stamping, trim the card stock to the size you need. What remains can be used for the inside of the card.

The supply list is rather long! When you’re creating a rainbow that means seven different colours of card stock and ink pads alone! If you’ve an avid fan of Stampin’ Up! products, most of you will have a “library” of card stock to draw from. This was such fun to make. I hope you’ll have a go yourself!
